Privacy Policy
Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Applies to Revuely for iPhone, iPad and, when released, Mac and iPhone Duo.
The short version
- We have no servers that store your content. Reviews, photos, notes and wishlist items live on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account.
- No account, no ads, no selling data, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- Voice dictation is processed on your device.
- Optional anonymous usage statistics contain counts and settings only — never anything you write, say or photograph.
What we collect
The developer of Revuely ("we") does not collect, receive or store the content you create in the app. The only information that can reach us is the anonymous usage data described in Anonymous analytics, and only according to your choice.
What stays on your device
Everything you create is stored locally, shared only with Revuely's own widgets and extensions on the same device:
- Reviews, ratings, template answers, titles, tags and categories
- Photos, videos and captions you add
- Quick Capture sessions and dictated text
- Wishlist items, prices, priorities and reminders
- Your own templates and preferences such as theme and language
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Revuely keeps your data in step across your devices using Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud database. That data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it. You can turn off iCloud for Revuely at any time in your device's Settings.
Permissions we ask for
Each one is requested only when you use the feature, and you can change it any time in Settings.

Map searches and address lookups use Apple Maps services, subject to Apple's privacy terms.
Anonymous analytics
To understand which features help people, Revuely can send anonymous usage events to our analytics provider, Mixpanel.
What is sent
Only counts, types of action, settings and durations — for example "a review was saved", "a template was used", the app version and device type.
What is never sent
Review text, titles, place names, addresses, tags, answers, photos, audio, search terms, wishlist names, your name, email or Apple Account. We do not use an identifier that links you across apps.
Your choice
Where the law requires consent, analytics stays off until you agree. Everywhere else, you can turn it off at any time with Settings › Share Anonymous Usage Data; turning it off discards anything not yet sent.
Siri, widgets, Spotlight & on-device intelligence
Siri shortcuts, Spotlight results, widgets, Live Activities and Control Center actions are handled by your device's operating system. Where Revuely suggests a title for a capture, it uses Apple's on-device models; your content is not sent to us.
Sharing & backups
When you share a review or wishlist item, or export a backup archive, it goes only where you send it through the system share sheet or file picker. Content you share into Revuely from other apps is saved locally.
Your choices & rights
Delete any item in the app, export everything with a backup, turn off iCloud sync or analytics, or delete the app to remove local data. To remove synced data, delete it in the app on a synced device or manage Revuely's data in iCloud settings. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side — but you are always welcome to ask.
Children
Revuely is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
